SCOTT CITY -- Funeral service for Rosie Lee Hill of Scott City will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. The Rev. Rennie Phillips will officiate, with burial in Lightner Memorial Cemetery.

Friends may call at the chapel after 3 p.m. today.

Hill, 56, died Monday, Jan. 8, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 24, 1939, in Jackson, daughter of Hugh A. and Helen Margaret Stone Spriggs. She and Harold Lee Hill were married Nov. 26, 1959, in Scott City.

Hill was a member of Ladies Auxiliary to VFW Post 3838 in Cape Girardeau, member and past vice president of Country CBers, and member of American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 389, both in Chaffee.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Jerry Hill of Scott City; two daughters, Jill Robert of Farmington, Mary Hill of Scott City; her mother, Helen Brant of Scott City; a brother, Norman Brant of Scott City; four sisters, Alvida Nation, Delores Simmons and Mary Wright of Scott City, Karry Brant of Cape Girardeau; a half brother, Oscar Spriggs of Louisville, Ky., and two grandsons.
