Rosie Lee Jackson-Lattin, 86, of Bellwood, Ill., and formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Wednesday, July 4, 2001, at the University of Illinois Medical Center in Chicago. Rosie Lee Jackson-Lattin, 86, of Bellwood, Ill., and formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Wednesday, July 4, 2001, at the University of Illinois Medical Center in Chicago.

She was born Jan. 26, 1915, in Augusta, Ark., daughter of Marion and Josephine Barnes. She and Willie "W.J." Jackson were married. He preceded her in death. She and C. Q. Lattin were married. He preceded her in death.

Jackson-Lattin was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Sikeston, Mo., and First Baptist Church of Melrose Park, Ill.

Survivors include seven daughters, Jerlean Lesure, Shirley Higgins, Ruthie Jackson, all of Maywood, Ill., Jessie Duncan of Chicago, Dr. Earnestine Pullen and Rita Jackson-Brown of Bellwood, Ill., and Virginia Byrd of Harvey, Ill.; four sons, Eddie Jackson of Marion, Ind., W.L. Jackson of Fresno, Calif., Carlee Jackson of Dixmoor, Ill., and Daniel Jackson of St. Louis; 47 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.

Friends may call at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Sikeston from 10-11 a.m. Saturday.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Funeral in Melrose Park, Ill., will be Wednesday.

In Sikeston, the Rev. J.L. Nabors will officiate, with burial in the Fairmont Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Williams-Farr & Purnell Funeral Home in Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
