CHARLESTON -- Rosie M. Jackson, 79, of Charleston died Sunday, Aug. 30, 1998, at her home.
She was born Feb. 28, 1919, in Osceola, Ark., daughter of Jack and Roxanne Armstrong Simms.
Jackson was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Pastor Aide, Missionary Society, Mother Board, and Willing Workers Club.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Sparks Funeral Home from 6-7 p.m. Thursday.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Matthew's Baptist Church, with the Rev. Lavern Frazier officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
