CHARLESTON -- Rosie E. Fowler, 90, of Charleston died Monday, Nov. 8, 1999, at Bertrand Retirement Home in Bertrand.
She was born April 4, 1909, in Bertrand, daughter of J.W. and Cecilia Priester. She and James Aubrey Fowler were married in 1927. He died Sept. 19, 1993.
Fowler had lived in Mississippi County all her life. Survivors include a son, James Edward Fowler of Charleston; three daughters, Asalee Haynes and Lois Helen Fowler, both of Sikeston, and Lucy Fish of Columbus, N.M.; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three daughters, three brothers, three sisters and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Wednesday at Shelby Funeral Home in Charleston.
Service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Richard Farquhar officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
