HIRAM -- Funeral service for Mrs. Rosie Skaggs Baker of Hiram will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Liley Funeral Chapel in Lutesville. The Rev. Gene Robbins will officiate, with burial in Grassy Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.
Mrs. Baker, 72 years old, died Friday, Dec. 7, 1990, at Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
She was born March 29, 1918, near Greenville, daughter of Gabriel and Myrtle Pigg Talley. She married Virge Skaggs May 4, 1935, who died Aug. 16, 1973.
Mrs. Baker was of the General Baptist faith.
Survivors include four sons, Willis, Virgil, Clarence and Kenneth Skaggs of Hiram; two daughters, Jean Sept of Ballwin, Marge Kinder of Bellevue, Neb.; two sisters, Winnie Shiverdeck of Grassy, Mary Robertson of Overland; 11 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, a daughter, brother and two sisters.
