EAST PRAIRIE -- Rosie B. Johnson, 93, died Friday, May 16, 1997, in the East Prairie Nursing Center.
She was born on July 31, 1903, in Mississippi County, the daughter of William and Zora Benson Walker. She married Garland Johnson. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son, Shirley Johnson; four daughters, Christine Foster of Hattiesburg, Miss., Frances Johnson of St. Peters, Velma Ogle of St. Louis and Dorothy High of Overland; and 10 grandchildren.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday with Bro. Larry Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
