HARDIN, Ill. -- Rosetta Crowden, 87, of Hardin, Ill., died Saturday, March 11, 2000, at her home.
She was born Dec. 26, 1912, in Lamar, Ark., daughter of John Thomas and Lou Amy Freeman Cochran. She and Robert Lee Crowden were married June 13, 1936, in Lamar. He died Dec. 11, 1988.
Survivors include one son, John Crowden of Eureka, Mo.; three daughters, Ruth Metcalf of Easley, S.C., Juanita Roy of Hardin and Edith Puers of Maplewood, Mo.; two brothers, Jack Cochran of Dexter, Mo., and Earley Cochran of Michigan; two sisters, Maggie Dobbs of Chaffee, Mo., and Ruby Nelson of Sikeston, Mo.; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. Monday.
Funeral will be at noon Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
