Rosemary Ruth Earl, 72, of Cape Girardeau passed away Thursday, Sept. 17, 2020, at Southeast Hospital.
She was born Feb. 13, 1948, in Cairo, Illinois, to Delbert and Mary Doris Winger Zoellner. She and Stephen Earl were married Nov. 10, 1967, in Charleston, Missouri.
Rosemary was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral in Cape Girardeau and owned Ambassador Real Estate.
Survivors include her husband, Stephen Earl; daughters, Amy Hoffmeister of Springfield, Missouri, and Julie (Brent) Anderson of Cape Girardeau; brother, Martin (Jeannie) Zoellner of St. Louis; sisters, Beth Zoellner of Huntsville, Alabama, Suzanne (Frank) Lee of Charleston and Sarah Turnbow of Cape Girardeau; grandchildren, Alex (Chasity) Hoffmeister of St. Louis, Stephen Hoffmeister of Arizona and Blake Anderson and Kristin Anderson, both of Cape Girardeau; and great-grandchildren, Lilia Hoffmeister and Charlie Hoffmeister.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Michael Zoellner.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., with parish prayers at 7 p.m., Wednesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Cathedral, with the Rev. Allan Saunders officiating. Entombment will follow at Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum in Cape Girardeau.
