BENTON, Mo. -- Rosemary Elizabeth Diebold, 83, of Benton died Friday, June 12, 2015, at The Arbors of Cape Girardeau.
She was born Jan. 10, 1932, in Cape Girardeau to Michael and Philomena Schwartz Glaus. She and Stephen William Diebold were married Thursday, March 29, 1951, at St. Lawrence Church in New Hamburg, Missouri.
Rosemary was a member of the St. Denis lady sodality group.
She is survived by four children, Valeria (David) Adams of Birchtree, Missouri, Cindy (Mike) Gotto, of Farmington, Missouri, Stephen (Ruth) Diebold of Atlanta and Yvonne (Alan) Moore of Benton; six grandchildren, Mitchell (Amanda) Diebold, April (Takafumi) Diebold-Oga, Robin Diebold, Veronica Moore, Andrew Moore and Keith Moore; and one great-grandchild, Violet Diebold.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, John; a daughter, Mary Ann; three half-brothers; and three half-sisters.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ford and Sons Funeral Home in Benton. A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
The funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Denis Catholic Church in Benton, with the Rev. Michael Casteel officiating.
Burial will be in St. Denis Church Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Denis Catholic Church and St. Denis Catholic School.
