ROSEMARY BASSE

ANNA, Ill. -- Rosemary Basse, 59, of Anna died Tuesday, July 25, 2000, at her home.

She was born June 27, 1941, in Cairo, Ill, the daughter of Melvin and Mary Schultz Basse.

She was a graduate of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale with a bachelor of science degree in English. She taught at Egyptian School for several years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Anna. She was an accomplished pianist.

She is survived by a son, Thomas R. Campbell II of Austin, Texas; two daughters, Kathy and Kimberly Campbell, both of Anna; and a sister, Judy Smith of Anna.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the Crain Funeral Home in Anna.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. John Annable officiating.
