Rosella Milfelt

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Rosella T. Milfelt, 91, of Perryville died Saturday, April 27, 2019, at Independence Care Center of Perry County.

She was born May 2, 1927, in Perry County, daughter of William I and Rosalia Wucher Bohnert. She and Joseph C. Milfelt were married July 5, 1952. He preceded her in death March 9, 1981.

Rosella was an associate at Walmart for 37 years, retiring at the age of 86. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and Ladies of Charity and was a hospital volunteer.

Survivors include two sons, Mark Milfelt and special friend Sharon Copeland of Imperial, Missouri, and John (Mindy) Milfelt of Perryville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one infant son, Joseph; three brothers, Clyde, Roland and Edgar Bohnert; and two sisters, Edna and Adella.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m., with rosary at 8:30 a.m., Friday at Young and Sons Funeral Home.

She will then be taken to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church for Mass at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Rich Wehrmeyer CM officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Memorials preferred to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
