PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Rose M. Paulus, 81, of Perryville died Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, at Independence Care Center in Perryville.
She was born March 30, 1928, in Perryville, daughter of Pius and Marcella Brewer Moonier. She married Bernard F. "Booze" Paulus on Nov. 22, 1947, in Perryville. He preceded her in death March 22, 2008.
She had been a secretary for the Knights of Columbus before retiring. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Daughters of Isabella and a past member of the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary.
Survivors include a son, Bruce Paulus of St. Louis, and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four sisters and a brother.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville.
Parish prayers with the Daughters of Isabella will be at 6 p.m.
Visitation will continue on from 6:30 to 11:50 a.m. Wednesday. The rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral Mass will be at noon Wednesday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville, with the Rev. Milton Ryan officiating.
Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery.
Memorials can be made to the St. Vincent de Paul School General Fund.
