Funeral service for Rose Massie of Jonesboro, Ark., formerly of Cape Girardeau, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Landess Funeral Home in Malden. The Rev. John Batchelor will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. today.
Massie, 58, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 1993, at Ridgeview Nursing Center in Malden.
She was born Oct. 17, 1934, at Lilbourn, daughter of Carl and Flora Glueck Scandrett. She and James Dean "Jim" Massie were married Aug. 7, 1954, in Cape Girardeau.
Massie was branch manger with Consumer Credit Counseling Service in Jonesboro, and was a former high school librarian at Malden.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, James Massie of Alexandria, Va., Phillip Massie of Wichita, Kan.; her parents of Henderson, Ky.; a sister, Doris Little of White Creek, Tenn., and two grandsons.
