Rose L. Toenjes, 81, of Waterloo, Ill., died Friday, March 25, 1994, at St. Clement Hospital in Red Bud, Ill. She was born Jan. 7, 1913, in Renault, Ill., daughter of John and Fannie M. Heller Kaestner. She married John B. Toenjes, who died Nov. 11, 1978...

Rose L. Toenjes, 81, of Waterloo, Ill., died Friday, March 25, 1994, at St. Clement Hospital in Red Bud, Ill.

She was born Jan. 7, 1913, in Renault, Ill., daughter of John and Fannie M. Heller Kaestner. She married John B. Toenjes, who died Nov. 11, 1978.

Toenjes was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Waterloo.

Survivors include a daughter, Marilyn Lively of Cape Girardeau; two sons, John and Roger Toenjes of Waterloo; a sister, Elizabeth Salger of Red Bud, and 14 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister and brother.

Friends may call at Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo after 2 p.m. Monday.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Church. Burial will be in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Waterloo.
