ROSE KEEVER

EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral service for Rose Keever of East Prairie will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie. Larry Smith will officiate, with burial in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.

Keever, 93, died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 1997, in East Prairie Nursing Center.

She was born Aug. 17, 1904, near East Prairie, daughter of Lewis Harold and Lucy Ellen Calhoun Marshall. She and Frederick Keever were married Feb. 4, 1922. He died Nov. 30, 1955.

Keever was a member of First Church of God.

Survivors include two daughters, Bessie Lenhardt of St. Louis, Betty Roach of Nashville, Tenn.; a brother, Jim Robinson of Jacksonville, Fla.; a sister, Pat Walpole of East Prairie; two grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, a son, two brothers, and a sister.
