Rose M. Hurt, 67, of Friedheim died Wednesday, July 18, 2007, at Ratliff Care Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born Sept. 14, 1939, in Jefferson City, Mo., daughter of William "Herbert" and Anna Margaret Gilbers Taggart. She and Emmette Hurt were married April 11, 1959...
Rose M. Hurt, 67, of Friedheim died Wednesday, July 18, 2007, at Ratliff Care Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Sept. 14, 1939, in Jefferson City, Mo., daughter of William "Herbert" and Anna Margaret Gilbers Taggart. She and Emmette Hurt were married April 11, 1959.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Emmett Hurt III of Jackson, Robert Hurt of Perryville, Mo.; two daughters, Rose Marie Williams of Benton, Mo., Rita Vaughn of Perryville; a brother, William Taggart of California, Mo.; and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons and a sister.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today, and from 6:30 a.m. to service time Friday at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dennis Lowe officiating. Burial will be in Home Cemetery.
