ST. MARY -- Rose Emma Franklin, 85, of St. Mary died Monday, Oct. 18, 1999, at her home.
She was born Aug. 17, 1914, at St. Mary, daughter of John and Mary Elizabeth Engelman Bruckerhoff.
She and Ira J. Franklin were married July 26, 1936, at Sereno.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in St. Mary.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Floyd Franklin of St. Mary and Cecil Franklin of Oak Ridge; four daughters, Kay Franklin and Rita Elaine Pucong, both of Kaileu Kona, Hawaii, Audry Schmelzle of Ste. Genevieve and Mary Jane Franklin of Ironton; two brothers, Glennon and William Bruckerhoff, both of St. Mary; a stepsister, Sadie Miederhoff of Perryville; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
Visitation will be after 4 p.m. today at Basler Funeral Home in St. Mary.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church in St. Mary. The Rev. Albert Mattler will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
