JACKSON -- Rose E. Nanna, 85, of Jackson died Friday, Jan. 29, 1999, at the Jackson Manor.
She was born on Jan. 14, 1914, at Farrar, daughter of John and Bertha Leibel Sticht.
She was a fund solicitor with the Salvation Army in Cape Girardeau for more than 50 years. She also was a member of the Home League of the Salvation Army. She taught Bible school and Sunday school at the Salvation Army.
She married Carlos R. Nanna on Oct. 8, 1933. He died in November 1981.
Survivors include two sons, George R. Nanna of Perryville and Fred C. Nanna of Shalimar, Fla.; three daughters, Carol J. Rellergert of Lees Summit, Violet Wooden of Cape Girardeau and Charlotte Layman of Lake of the Ozarks; a brother, Leo Sticht of Jackson; a sister, Nora Zimmerman of East Alton, Ill.; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel today from 4 to 8 p.m.
Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Capt. Robert Gauthier of the Salvation Army will officiate. Burial will follow in Lorimier Cemetery.
