JACKSON -- Rose Cotner, 76, of Jackson, died Monday, Nov. 22, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born March 2, 1917, at Perryville, daughter of Andrew and Anna Stortz Biri. She and Clem Cotner were married June 4, 1938. JACKSON -- Rose Cotner, 76, of Jackson, died Monday, Nov. 22, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born March 2, 1917, at Perryville, daughter of Andrew and Anna Stortz Biri. She and Clem Cotner were married June 4, 1938.

Cotner was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and St. Ann's Sodality.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Robert Cotner of Jackson; two daughters, Edna Kluesner of New Hamburg, Mary Hartle of Millersville; two brothers, Joe and Clarence Biri of Jackson; two sisters, Anna Leimer and Clara Miller of Jackson; 15 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, three brothers and a sister.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Church. Msgr. Edward Eftink will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. Thursday. Parish prayers will be at 7:30.
