Rosalea Chostner Hall of Cape Girardeau died Monday, June 8, 1998 at St. Francis Medical Center. She was born at Scopus, MO in Bollinger County, the daughter of the late James Monroe and Nancy Elizabeth Nanney Chostner. The family moved to Morley, MO where she graduated from Morley High School. She later graduated from Steimle Business College in Cape Girardeau. In 1938, she married Charles Scott Hall of Media, Pennsylvania. He preceded her in death in 1978...

Rosalea Chostner Hall of Cape Girardeau died Monday, June 8, 1998 at St. Francis Medical Center. She was born at Scopus, MO in Bollinger County, the daughter of the late James Monroe and Nancy Elizabeth Nanney Chostner.

The family moved to Morley, MO where she graduated from Morley High School. She later graduated from Steimle Business College in Cape Girardeau. In 1938, she married Charles Scott Hall of Media, Pennsylvania. He preceded her in death in 1978.

Survivors are a daughter and son-in-law, Shirley Jo and Don Gaertner of St. Louis, three granddaughters, seven great grandchildren and one great granddaughter of St. Louis. Many nieces and nephews survive including Richard D. Lamb of Cape Girardeau.

Mrs. Hall was a member of First Baptist Church. She volunteered with the St. Francis Medical Center and Southeast Missouri Hospital Auxiliaries. She worked as a supervisor for the former Davis Electric Company.

Friends may call Thursday, 4 to 8 p.m. at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 12, 1998 at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. John Owen officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
