Rosa Renaud

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Rosa L. Renaud, 87, of Perryville died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012, at Perry Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Perryville.

She was born Nov. 26, 1924, in Perryville, to Leo and Mary Myrtle Moore Vessells. She and Milton Renaud were married Aug. 11, 1945, in Perry County.

Mrs. Renaud had worked as a bookkeeper at Joe Mahoney Associates in Eureka, Ill. She also had worked as a cutter at Florsheim Shoe Factory. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church at Sereno, Mo.

Survivors include her husband, Milton Renaud of Perryville; two daughters, Diane (Bill) Schilling of Lenexa, Kan., Marilyn Corse of Perryville; three sons, David Renaud of Texas City, Texas, Dan (Gina) Renaud of Shawnee, Kan., Mark Renaud of Caseyville, Ill.; a sister, Mary Dell Schremp of Perryville; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Judy Elder; and a brother, Eddie Vessells.

The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until time of service Monday at Our Lady of Victory Church in Sereno.

Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. at the church, with the Rev. Bill Rhinehart officiating. Entombment will be in Mary Queen of Heavens Mausoleum at Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church General Fund.
