ROSA O. MEYR

JACKSON -- Funeral service for Rosa Olivia Meyr of Jackson will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at McCombs Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Robert Henrichs will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.

Meyr, 88, died Monday, June 13, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Sept. 15, 1905, at New Wells, daughter of Martin and Martha Vogt Haertling. She and Rudolph "Rudy" Meyr were married Nov. 6, 1927. He died Jan. 23, 1986.

Meyr was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a son, Harold Meyr of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Leona Woodburn of Ridgewood, N.J.; six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, three brothers and two sisters.
