KARNAK, Ill. -- Rosa Avery Davis, 95, of Karnak died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2001, at her son's home in Karnak.
She was born Nov. 11, 1905, at Keensburg, Ill., the daughter of Charles and Lena Dell Avery. She married Homer Davis. He died in 1983.
She was a housewife and member of the Bethany Baptist Church at Cypress, Ill.
She is survived by two sons, Leon Davis and Raymond Davis of Karnak; five grandchildren, six stepgrandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and seven great-stepgrandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by her parents, a son, a grandson, a granddaughter, three sisters and two brothers.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kenneth Capps officiating.
Burial will be at the Masonic Cemetery in Cypress.
