JACKSON -- Ronnie Gene Seyer, 50, of Jackson died Monday, Nov. 24, 1997, at his home. He had been in ill health two years.
He was born May 17, 1947, in Cape Girardeau, son of Edwin W. and Dorothy Schrock Seyer. He and Marilyn Dudley were married June 3, 1967, in Cape Girardeau.
Seyer was a 1965 graduate of Central High school, and was a 4-H leader 20 years.
He had been a foreman at Ralph Edwards Sportswear, was a truck driver with Elfrink Truck Lines, and had farmed. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and Teamsters Local 574.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Ronnie Seyer of Chaffee, Timothy and Luke Seyer of Jackson, Ryan Seyer of Cape Girardeau; his mother of Cape Girardeau; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau from 4-8 p.m. Thursday. Parish prayers will be at 7.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Church, with Msgr. Edward Eftink officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
