DEXTER -- Memorial service for Ronnie Dean Duckworth of Dexter will be held at 6 p.m. today at Blanchard Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The Rev. Ed Pangburn will officiate.

Funeral was held Saturday at Clinkingbeard Funeral Chapel in Ava. The Rev. Ronnie Pinkney officiated. Burial was in Ava Cemetery.

Duckworth, 51, died Wednesday, May 24, 2000, in an automobile accident near Bloomfield on state Highway 25.

He was born Jan. 2, 1949, at Springfield, son of Norman and Norma Guthery Duckworth. He and Cindy Keith were married Feb. 14, 1969, at Mt. Tabor.

Duckworth was a logistics manager with Cott Beverage Co. He had lived at Ava and Mt. Vernon, moving to Dexter six years ago.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Jason Duckworth of Bloomfield; a daughter, Rhonda Duckworth of Springfield; his parents of Ava; two brothers, Randy Duckworth of Ava, Dale Duckworth of Springfield; and three grandchildren.
