Ronnie Norman Chris Bugg, 48, of DeMotte, Ind., and Jackson died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2004, at St. Mary's Hospital in Hobart, Ind. He was born Jan. 17, 1956, in Gideon, Mo., son of James Alonzo and Jeanette Kniker Bugg. Bugg was formerly a Diesel mechanic. Ronnie Norman Chris Bugg, 48, of DeMotte, Ind., and Jackson died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2004, at St. Mary's Hospital in Hobart, Ind.

He was born Jan. 17, 1956, in Gideon, Mo., son of James Alonzo and Jeanette Kniker Bugg.

Bugg was formerly a Diesel mechanic. He was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral in Cape Girardeau and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He served in the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include two daughters, Amy Holman-Dotson of Grovetown, Ga., Kelsey Bugg of DeMotte; a stepdaughter, Sarah Wills-Hinkle of Tennessee; his mother of Portageville, Mo.; two brothers, Mark Bugg of Portageville, J.L. Bugg of Columbus, Ind.; two sisters, Charlotte Pyles of Cape Girardeau, Christie Jenkins of DeMotte; a friend, Eileen Holman of Jackson; a grandchild; and two stepgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Friends may call at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday. Parish prayers will be at 6.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Cathedral, with the Rev. Scott Sunnenberg officiating. Burial will be in Mounds Cemetery at New Madrid, Mo., with full military honors.
