MOREHOUSE -- Funeral service for Police Chief Ronn Gosnell of Morehouse will be held at 10 a.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Morehouse. The Rev. Rick Krietemeyer will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston.

Gosnell, 38, died Friday, May 16, 1997, at St. Louis University Hospital.

He was born May 2, 1959, in Sikeston, son of Murell and Stella Beavers Gosnell. He and Kim Mack were married May 27, 1978, in Sikeston.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Ronald Gosnell Jr.; a daughter, Melissa Gosnell; his mother, all of Morehouse; a brother, Robert Gosnell of Dexter; three sisters, Judy Greene and Linda Harmon of Morehouse; and Connie Dock of Sikeston.
