RONALD SPURLOCK

MT. PLEASANT, Ill. -- Ronald Wayne Spurlock, 60, of Mt. Pleasant died Friday, Aug. 18, 2000, at his home.

He was born March 21, 1940, in Pulaski County, Ill., son of John H. and Mabel Williams Spurlock. He and Wilma Louise Collins were married Aug. 9, 1958, at Buncombe, Ill.

Spurlock was owner and operator of Spurlock Trash Service.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Randy Spurlock of Vienna, Ill., Ronald Spurlock of Lick Creek, Ill.; his parents of Anna, Ill.; two sisters, Betty Mosby and Rita Hancock of Jonesboro, Ill.; three brothers, Johnny Spurlock of Dongola, Ill., Frank Spurlock of Decatur, Ill., Mark Spurlock of Mt. Pleasant; and four grandchildren.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna after 6 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Paul Sadler and Ken Willson officiating. Burial will be in McGinnis Cemetery near Anna.
