Ronald L. McCulley, 57, of Cape Girardeau left to be with the Lord on Monday, Jan. 26, 2015, at Southeast Hospital.
He was born Sept. 12, 1957. He and Melinda Benton were married Oct. 9, 1993, in Cape Girardeau.
Ron attended Mineral Area College. He was a member of the iron workers union at Fulton, Missouri. He was a nursing home administrator 30 years at Sunshine Villa in Scott City. He helped many people.
He was a member of Cape Girardeau Elks Lodge, a former board member of Regional Commerce and Growth Association of Cape Girardeau, Scott City Chamber of Commerce and SEMO 10. He was a 28-year member of Wednesday Night Bowling League at West Park Lanes where he bowled a perfect 300 game. He was an avid golfer and master woodworker who truly loved making artistic creations.
He is survived by his wife; a stepson, Doug Benton; stepgrandchildren, Zack and Emma Benton; his mother, Betty Parker; a sister, Kim; and two brothers, Larry and Kevin.
He was preceded in death by his father, H. Wayne McCulley.
Family and friends may gather from 1 p.m. until time of service Saturday at First Free Will Baptist Church, 2919 Kage Road.
A celebration of the life of Ronald McCulley will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the church.
Crain Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary, 359 Cree Lane, Jackson, MO 63755, where he adopted his beloved dog, Sparkie, who brought him much joy.
