ANNA, Ill. -- Ronald L. Holcomb, 57, of Anna died Sunday, Oct. 20, 2002, at Marion Memorial Hospital in Marion, Ill.
He was born Dec. 15, 1944, in Waynesville, Mo., son of Leo and Ella Maxine Daniels Holcomb. He and Elizabeth Ross were married Aug. 6, 1994.
Holcomb was employed 28 years as operations manager at Holcomb Welding. Prior to that he worked at Caterpillar in Aurora, Ill. He was a member of American Welding Society.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Survivors include his wife; his mother, Maxine Carstens; a stepson, Tracy Pearson; a stepdaughter, Sonya Garver, all of Anna; two brothers, Barry and Jim Holcomb of Dongola, Ill.; and four stepgrandchildren.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Anna from 6 to 9 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Paul Sadler officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery, with full military honors by Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455.
