CARSON CITY, Nev. -- Ronald Roy Hamlett, 54, of Carson City, formerly of Patton, Mo., died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2005, at Carson Tahoe Hospital in Nevada. He was born June 3, 1950, at Mesa, Ariz., son of Armond and Cecelia Cox Hamlett. He and Cyrethia Taul were married...

CARSON CITY, Nev. -- Ronald Roy Hamlett, 54, of Carson City, formerly of Patton, Mo., died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2005, at Carson Tahoe Hospital in Nevada.

He was born June 3, 1950, at Mesa, Ariz., son of Armond and Cecelia Cox Hamlett. He and Cyrethia Taul were married.

Hamlett was a heavy equipment operator for Ames Construction Co. in Nevada. He was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Festus, Mo., and the Northern Nevada Local No. 3 of Operating Engineers.

Survivors include his wife; his mother, Cecelia Hamlett Paige of Chandler, Okla.; a son, Harley Hamlett of Desoto, Mo.; two brothers, Edward Hamlett of Minden, Nev.; Robert Hamlett of Chandler, Okla.; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and a son.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Liley Funeral Home in Patton.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Fred Ritter officiating. Burial will be in Reagan's Chapel Cemetery near Patton.
