ORAN -- Funeral Mass for Ronald Wylie Curtis of Oran will be held at 10 a.m. today at Guardian Angel Catholic Church. The Rev. Lewis Hejna will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel at Chaffee is in charge of arrangements.

Curtis, 40, died Sunday, Dec. 8, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Feb. 22, 1956, at Chaffee, son of Clarence Wylie and Mary Ann Margrabe Curtis. He and Betty Jo Cook were married Nov. 29, 1974.

Curtis was a service point manager with Missouri Department of Agriculture in New Madrid. He was a member of Guardian Angel Church and St. Joseph Sodality, past grand knight of Oran Knights of Columbus Council 4311, and former member of Guardian Angel School Board.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Josh Curtis; a daughter, Stacey Curtis; his parents, all of Oran; two brothers, David Curtis of Sikeston, James Curtis of Oran; three sisters, Darlene Cathey and Brenda Curtis of Cape Girardeau, Benita Saupe of Jackson; and paternal grandfather, Leo Curtis of Lowndes.
