Ronald Gale Bollinger, 56, of Cape Girardeau passed away due to health issues Saturday, March 16, 2019, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
Ron was born Sept. 1, 1962, in Cape Girardeau. He worked at John Deere as sales manager for many years and Noranda Aluminum afterward.
Ron loved the outdoors, boating, skiing and hunting and basically anything involving friends and family. He was known to light up a room with his smile and his joking nature. Ron loved his family and spent many days barbecuing with his brother, Jim. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his son, Gunnar Bollinger of Marble Hill, Missouri; daughter, Remi Bollinger of Whitewater; father, Harold (Marjorie) Bollinger of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Sandy (Alan) Haman and Debra Green of Cape Girardeau; brother, Jim (Jean) Bollinger of Cape Girardeau; and his beloved pet, Ernie.
Ron was preceded in death by his mother, Norma Fisher Bollinger, and a nephew, Jay Green.
Family and friends may gather from 4 to 5 p.m. Thursday at Fellowship Baptist Church, 430 Koch St. in Cape Girardeau.
A memorial service will be at 5 p.m. Thursday at the church, with Ray Green and Frank Burgess officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Crain Funeral Home and Cremation Service to assist the family with final expenses.
