RONALD BEUSSINK

MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Ronald A. Beussink, 59, of Marble Hill died Wednesday, June 6, 2001, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.

He was born March 7, 1942, at St. Louis, the son of August B. and Adriana "Jane" Thele Beussink. He married Norma Ann Elfrink on April 30, 1966, in Portageville, Mo. She survives.

He was a maintenance supervisor for Elder Care of Marble Hill. He had served in the Army National Guard. He was a member of the St. John's Catholic Church in Leopold, Mo., and St. Isidore Council 5898 Knights of Columbus at Leopold.

He also is survived by a son, Andy Beussink of Kelso, Mo.; a daughter, Leslie Meritt of Dexter, Mo.; two brothers, Ted Beussink of St. Charles, Mo., and Glen Beussink of Oran, Mo.; a sister, Janet Beussink of Marble Hill; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be after 4 p.m. today at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. Parish prayers and the Knights of Columbus rosary are scheduled at 6 p.m.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Bill Huggins officiating.

Burial will be at St. John's Cemetery.
