Ronald Edward Bergen, 51, 624 S. Pacific, died Monday, Dec. 9, 1996, at his home.
He was born Jan. 2, 1945, in Tempe, Ariz., son of Donald and Opal Lancaster Bergen. He and Mary Yoder were married May 21, 1966, at Winona.
Bergen lived at Dexter more than 25 years, and had worked 11 years at Hudson Foods. He moved to Cape Girardeau four years ago and owned and operated Cape Airport Restaurant. Prior to moving to Dexter he worked for the city of Tempe.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Richard Bergen of Scott City, Edward McElroy of Dexter, Larry McElroy of Cassville; his mother of Tempe; two brothers, David Bergen of Finland, Stephen Bergen of Chandler, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
There is no local visitation or service.
A service will be held later in Tempe.
Ford and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
