RON OZMENT

THEBES, Ill. -- Ron Ozment, 57, of Thebes died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2001, at his home.

He was born June 30, 1943, in Cairo, Ill., son of Orval and Martha Mixen Ozment. He and Susie Culkin were married Dec. 7, 1988.

Ozment was a construction laborer and a member of the Laborers Local 773. He was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Rhonda Ozment of Cape Girardeau; three sons, Chris Ozment of Ullin, Ill., Michael Cochran of Blandville, Ky., and Stephen Cochran of Sikeston, Mo.; his parents of Olive Branch, Ill.; a sister, Brenda Dillingham of Olive Branch; and five grandchildren.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms, Ill.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Raymond Oxford will officiate, with burial in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge, Ill.
