DEXTER -- Roger Reese Jr., 49, of Dexter, died Sunday, May 19, 1996, at his home. He was born March 10, 1947, in White Oak, son of Willie and Genevieve Wilkes Reese. He and Laverne Stallings were married Nov. 4, 1977, at Dexter. Reese was a member of Disabled American Veterans and Eagles Lodge 4062. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War...
DEXTER -- Roger Reese Jr., 49, of Dexter, died Sunday, May 19, 1996, at his home.
He was born March 10, 1947, in White Oak, son of Willie and Genevieve Wilkes Reese. He and Laverne Stallings were married Nov. 4, 1977, at Dexter.
Reese was a member of Disabled American Veterans and Eagles Lodge 4062. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife; a son, David Reese of Dexter; a daughter, Cheri Ives of Flint, Mich.; his parents of Dexter; five brothers, Jimmy Reese of Flint, Perry Reese of Sikeston, Danny, Michael and Jeff Reese of Dexter; two sisters, Janice Sugg and Judy Rainey of Dexter, and two grandchildren.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kenneth Martin officiating. Burial will be in Hagy Cemetery.
