EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. -- Roger Murphy, 51, of East Prairie died Tuesday, May 31, 2005, at East Prairie Nursing Center. EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. -- Roger Murphy, 51, of East Prairie died Tuesday, May 31, 2005, at East Prairie Nursing Center.

He was born Feb. 15, 1954, at Hayti, Mo., son of Robert Junior and Mary Louise Johnson Murphy.

Murphy was employed at Budget Laundry and Cleaners. He was a member of Christian Tabernacle in Sikeston, Mo.

Survivors include his mother of East Prairie; two brothers, Robert Murphy of Bertrand, Mo., Thomas Johnson of Sikeston; two sisters, Alpha Manker of Charleston, Mo., and Susie Warren of East Prairie.

Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with E.J. McDougal officiating. Burial will be in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
