Roger Humphrey

TAMMS, Ill. -- Roger L. Humphrey, 61, of Tamms passed away at 6:53 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Roger was born Sept. 11, 1952, in Tuscola, Illinois, son of the late Cecil J. and Piccola E. Meador Humphrey.

Roger was a retired welder.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Randy Humphrey; and a brother, Arnold Humphrey.

Survivors include two sisters, Della (Doug) Stiff and Connie (Mike) Ashworth, all of Tamms; a brother, Cecil Dewayne (Mary) Humphrey of Jackson; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Jones Funeral Home, Tamms.

Memorial services will be 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bob Kirby officiating. Private interment will be at a later date in Olive Branch Cemetery in Olive Branch, Illinois.
