Rodney Whitelaw Jueneman, 97, of Fairfield, Calif., died Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010, in Fairfield. She was born Feb. 13, 1912, in St. Louis, daughter of John and Iska Whitelaw Carmack. Rodney Whitelaw Jueneman, 97, of Fairfield, Calif., died Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010, in Fairfield.

She was born Feb. 13, 1912, in St. Louis, daughter of John and Iska Whitelaw Carmack. She lived in Cape Girardeau during her youth.

Through the Whitelaw family, she was a direct descendant of Louis Lorimier, founder of Cape Girardeau.

Rodney and Fred R. Jueneman were married Sept. 7, 1938, in Cape Girardeau, and maintained that residence from 1938 to 1948.

Upon Fred's retirement from the Air Force as a lieutenant colonel in 1967, they relocated to the Suisun/Fairfield area.

She and Fred (who died in 2002) are survived by two sons and their wives, Robert (Marian) and Donald (Grace); three grandchildren, Tracey Casciano, Douglas Jueneman and Rodney Hankemeyer; and seven great-grandchildren.

Episcopal services were held in Fairfield Feb. 11. Interment of her ashes will be at 1 p.m. Saturday next to Fred's gravesite in Lorimier Cemetery. The Rev. Robert Towner will officiate.

Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
