CHARLESTON -- Rodney D. Pepper, 62, of ST. Louis, formerly of Mississippi County, died Saturday, June 12, 1993 at the John Cochran VA Medical Center in St. Louis.
He was born Dec. 13, 1930 in Mississippi County, son of Clarence "Dutch" and Bessie B. Byassee Pepper.
He had lived in St. Louis the past 20 years. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and served in the Army until his retirement.
Survivors include two brothers, Tommie D. Pepper and Sidney Pepper, both of St. Louis; two sisters, Helen Brown of St. Louis and Murlene Riley of Salem.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, with Cline Ables of Sikeston officiating. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery.
