Rodney Gary Arnold, 52, of Jackson died Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014, in Jackson.
He was born June 7, 1962, in Cape Girardeau, to Gary and Doris Jean Broyles Arnold.
He and Pamela Diane Myers were married Sept. 1, 1990, in Sikeston, Missouri.
Rodney was a 1980 graduate of Central High School and a 1984 graduate of Southern Methodist University.
He formerly owned Translectric Inc., as well as several other small businesses and recently acquired ownership of Slopeside Cowboy in Breckenridge, Colorado. He was involved in land development and custom home building for many years.
He was a member of LaCroix United Methodist Church.
Rodney is survived by his wife, Pamela Diane Myers Arnold, and his two children, Alicia Christine Arnold and Preston Gary Arnold, all of Jackson. He is also survived by his parents, Gary and Doris Jean Arnold of Cape Girardeau; as well as his sister, Cynthia Arnold McCullouch of Cape Girardeau.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ron Watts officiating. Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Young Life.
