ORAN -- Funeral for Rodger L. Williams of Oran will be held at 2 p.m. today at Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. David Light will officiate. Burial will be in Hagy Cemetery at Dexter.
Williams, 50, died Saturday, May 13, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born June 15, 1949, at Dexter, son of Ulyss Glen and Violet L. VanBibber Williams. He and Karen D. Teets were married Dec. 29, 1973, at Dexter.
Williams was a forklift operator with Foamex Corp. He was a member of House of Prayer Church in Bell City.
Survivors include his wife; his mother of Chaffee; two brothers, Louis and Harry Williams of Chaffee; and a sister, Genoa McLard of Chaffee.
He was preceded in death by his father.
