Robert E. Williams, 74, of Corning, Ark., died Monday, June 6, 2005, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born March 6, 1931, in Greenville, Ill., son of Floyd and Peggy Paulding Reetz Will-iams. He and Charlene Williams were married in 1990. She died in 1997.
Williams retired as a truck driver with ABF. He was affiliated with the Church of Christ in Corning.
He was a veteran.
Survivors include four daughters, Connie Glazer and Kim Silvagnoli of St. Louis, Jackie Mason of Cape Girardeau, Michelle Schermerhorn of Florida; two stepdaughters, Danita Green and Janet Bowers of Jonesboro, Ark.; two stepsons, Eddie Claar of Cape Girardeau, Mike Claar of Illinois; a sister, Betty Haskell of Florida; three stepsisters, Linda Sparks of California, Janice Blankenship and Sandra Guffey of Illinois; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Aug. 6 at Corning Cemetery.
Ermert Funeral Home in Corning is in charge of arrangements.
