Robert Fulton White Jr., 75, of Cape Girardeau passed away Friday, Sept. 6, 2024, at Chateau Girardeau.
Robert was born Oct. 27, 1948, to Robert and Franchon Palsgrove White. He and Bonnie Moxey were married May 30, 1970, at First Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.
Robert graduated from Cape Girardeau Central High School in 1966 and from Southeast Missouri State University in 1973.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau. He was a car salesman for his entire working career. He served as a Boy Scout leader for more than 20 years. During that time, he was awarded the District Award of Merit and the Silver Beaver Award. He also taught in the Wood Badge Course for the Boy Scouts of America. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
In addition to his wife of 54 years, Bonnie White, Robert is survived by a son, Tim (Katelyn) White of Jackson, and three grandchildren, Tyson White, Kyla White and Rowyn White, all of Jackson.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 9, at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery.
