GRAND CHAIN, Ill. -- Funeral for Robert Gregory Ulrich of Brewster, Wash., will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Catherine Church in Grand Chain. Msgr. Bill McGhee will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak, Ill., from 5-9 p.m. Sunday. Prayers will be said at 7:30.
Ulrich, 75, died Saturday, May 5, 2001, at Harmony House in Brewster.
He was born Nov. 6, 1925, at Grand Chain, son of Sylvester and Pauline "Lena" Kirschner Ulrich. He married Anne Goins.
Ulrich owned Ulrich Apple Orchards in Brewster until retiring. He was a member of Sacred Heart Parish, Knights of Columbus and American Legion in Brewster.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Kem Testall of Washington; two sisters, Kathleen Hard of Paducah, Ky., Regina Isom of Charleston, Ill.; a granddaughter; and two great-grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
