BENTON, Mo. -- Robert Lee Street, 58, of Benton died Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born May 10, 1951, in Piedmont, Mo., to William F. and Flora Jane Duscheney Street. He and Jo Ann Wable were married June 7, 2007, in Advance, Mo.
Mr. Street was a maintenance worker with the city of Advance. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church in Benton.
He was a loving and caring husband, father, papa, son and brother. Robert was an active man who loved being with his family, loved helping people and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann Street of Benton; two daughters, Heather (Nathen) Shirrell of Advance, Lindsay Gadberry of Cape Girardeau; his mother, Flora Jane Sifford of Piedmont; two brothers, William Paul Street of Piedmont, Gary Wayne Street of St. Louis; three sisters, Linda Faye Spencer and Sharon Kaye Hicks of Piedmont, Wanda Pearl Fahland of Farmington, Mo.; three grandchildren, Eliza, Ella and Jack Shirrell.
He was preceded in death by his father and a sister.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. to service time Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Eric Shrum officiating.
Memorial contributions may be given to First Baptist Church in Advance.
