SIKESTON, Mo. -- Robert E. "Bob" Stevener, 70, of Sikeston died Saturday, Oct. 23, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. He was born Feb. 19, 1934, at Niagara Falls, N.Y., son of Wilfred E. and Amelia A. Mesler Stevener. He and Paula Jean Siars were married Feb. 18, 1984...
SIKESTON, Mo. -- Robert E. "Bob" Stevener, 70, of Sikeston died Saturday, Oct. 23, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
He was born Feb. 19, 1934, at Niagara Falls, N.Y., son of Wilfred E. and Amelia A. Mesler Stevener. He and Paula Jean Siars were married Feb. 18, 1984.
Stevener was a member of American Legion Post 114.
He served with the U.S. Army in the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Lynda Fier of Benton, Ark., Cynthia Young of Atlanta, Ga., Sandra Covington of Ward, Ark.; his father of Manistee, Mich.; a sister, Beverly Pickrell of West Lake Village, Calif.; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, Mo., from 5 to 9 p.m. today.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield. Jamie Jackson will officiate.
