CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Robert "Bob" Schwepker, 68, of Chaffee passed away Thursday, July 11, 2013, at the family home. He was born Feb. 10, 1945, in Cape Girardeau, to Walter Frank and Dorothy Marie Amos Schwepker. He and Brenda Emerson were married from 1968 to 1980. He married JoDonna Glaus on Sept. 5, 1992. She preceded him in death Jan. 13, 2012...

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Robert "Bob" Schwepker, 68, of Chaffee passed away Thursday, July 11, 2013, at the family home.

He was born Feb. 10, 1945, in Cape Girardeau, to Walter Frank and Dorothy Marie Amos Schwepker. He and Brenda Emerson were married from 1968 to 1980. He married JoDonna Glaus on Sept. 5, 1992. She preceded him in death Jan. 13, 2012.

Bob was a medic in the United States Army, having served in the Vietnam War.

He retired as a line tech and instructor at Procter and Gamble in Cape Girardeau. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Delta, Cape Girardeau VFW Post 3838, and Chaffee Elks Lodge 1810.

Survivors include two daughters, Kelley (Greg) Branson of Sikeston, Mo., and Bobbi (Tony Crader) Schwepker of Delta; a brother, Jack Johnson of Cape Girardeau; five grandchildren, Zach Schwepker, Aaron Branson, Brianna Branson, Colby Crader and Micah Branson.

He was also preceded in death by his father, Walter Schwepker; his mother, Dorothy Schwepker Johnson; a granddaughter, Sydnea Elizabeth; and a brother, Jim Johnson.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Sunday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Eric Hodge officiating. Burial will be in Kenyon Cemetery at Delta, with full military honors presented by Missouri Honor Guard.
