Robert Lee Schooley, 58, of Millersville died Thursday, Aug. 26, 2004, at his home. He was born April 6, 1946, in St. Louis. He and Sandra Ives were married Dec. 21, 1968, in St. Louis. He was inducted into the U.S. Army Dec. 16, 1966. He served in Vietnam and was awarded three Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart. He was honorably discharged Dec. 13, 1968, as a sergeant...

Robert Lee Schooley, 58, of Millersville died Thursday, Aug. 26, 2004, at his home.

He was born April 6, 1946, in St. Louis. He and Sandra Ives were married Dec. 21, 1968, in St. Louis.

He was inducted into the U.S. Army Dec. 16, 1966. He served in Vietnam and was awarded three Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart. He was honorably discharged Dec. 13, 1968, as a sergeant.

Mr. Schooley was plant manager at Florsheim Shoe Co. in Cape Girardeau, retiring in 1992. He was a member of Cape Bible Chapel.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Schooley of Millersville, and a son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Emily Schooley of Cape Girardeau.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Eugena Martz.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson, and from 10 a.m. to service time Saturday at Cape Bible Chapel.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with Dan Greene officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery at Jackson, with full military honors.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Cape Bible Chapel.
